Paul Duncan McGarrity presents: A Practical Guide to Attacking Castles

Comedian Archaeologist Paul Duncan McGarrity in a helmet

Come along to the Pavilion for a celebration of the upcoming opening of Bamburgh Ossuary

From the age of sieges and chivalry comes a show about medieval love, adrenaline junkies and an insane quest for glory. Join comedian and archaeologist Paul Duncan McGarrity as he explains how modern life could be so much better if we all take a moment and learn how to attack a castle. From the host of the ‘Ask an Archaeologist‘ podcast and live show comes another hour of hysterical historical fun.

Is there parking at the Pavilion?
We suggest that you use the main car park in Bamburgh and walk across to the Pavilion.

Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
Please email Jessica or Catherine at bamburghheritage@gmail.com

How much are the tickets?
The event is free to attend, but donations to Bamburgh Bones are most welcome

Is the event suitable for children?
Parental discretion is advised. We’ve put an age guidance of 11+ as there is some strong language.
